About Me
I help women encounter the Holy Spirit and live authentically…at home, work and in ministry.
Hi friend! I’m Deanna—pastor, author, speaker, and spiritual life strategist. I have a penchant for party dances, honest conversations, cutting through nonsense, and getting things done. I adore naps, rainy days, and even Mondays—and I’m not a big fan of excuses, laziness, or long lines.
People sometimes ask, “Is there anything you’re not good at?” Absolutely! A whole list of things, including (but not limited to): hula hooping, swimming, math, sports, card games, sewing, letting my husband have the last word, and keeping plants alive.
For decades I’ve walked with women in every season, helping them hear God’s voice and take the next faithful step with clarity and peace. I’ve spent years pastoring, writing, and equipping women to live authentically—rooted in Scripture and responsive to the Holy Spirit. I love watching God do what only He can do: restore peace, rekindle calling, and renew strength. If you’re navigating a new season or longing for a fresh move of God, I’m here for it—and for you. Let’s say yes to what the Spirit is doing.
I’m still madly in love with my husband (yes, we do marriage conferences and retreats!), and our grown kids are flourishing in their own lanes—something we thank God for every day. Tampa, Florida is home base, and Richmond, Virginia holds a big piece of my heart.
These places and spaces keep me grounded and grateful. I also answer to five little people who call me “Yia Yia” (I’m half Greek), which keeps legacy front and center—one relationship, one prayer, one yes at a time. I love porch chats with friends, dancing to ’70s and ’80s music, treasure-hunting through thrift stores, and hosting simple dinners at home where people can exhale and tell the truth about their lives.
I keep a skeleton-free closet so there’s room for shoes and purses—and plenty of stories. I’ll talk about hard things with ease and humor—from accidentally wearing my clothes inside-out to navigating complex trauma and depression—because I believe honesty heals.
And since we’re ending on a bright note: I’m also crazy about disco, Madea movies, and a good round of restaurant hopping.
I can’t wait to meet you!
