Are you feeling stuck when it comes to gift giving for some of the people on your Christmas list? Today I’d like to share a few of my favorite things that might be good choices for you to get for some of the people on your list. These are in no particular order, and they are all budget friendly gifts.
- The book, I Hear His Whisper, by Brian Simmons. This is a fabulous daily devotional that my friend Susan Morgan gave me for my birthday this past year. I absolutely love it. I’ve probably been gifted hundreds of devotionals during my lifetime and have re-gifted many of them. This is one devotional that I will never give away as far as my personal copy, but I have already purchased many as gifts for others.
- Goose Creek Candles. These are my favorite candles, no exception! Ever since I tried them, I have fallen madly in love with them and have not purchased any other brand. My two absolute favorite scents are the blueberry cheesecake and forest pine. You can get a few varieties (maybe 3-5 at most?) at Walmart. They are very limited in stores. However I recommend going to the Goose Creek website and ordering direct. They are much cheaper on the site and they have special codes you can use to get discounts. Just one of these candles will have your entire home smelling amazing, and they are clean burning.
- Paris Tea by Harney and Sons. I have been drinking this tea for many years, and never get tired of it. It is a fruity black tea with a hint of lemony Bergamot. It comes in sachets in this adorable purple box and is perfect for gift giving. I have gifted this tea to others at least 30 times. And,it’s a gift I give to myself all year long, as well. Trust me, you’ll love it.
- The book, Secrets of the Secret Place, by Bob Sorge. This is the main book I use to mentor/disciple anyone. It is a timeless classic on prayer and intimacy with God. If this is not in your personal collection, you need it. If you are looking for a gift to give anyone to help them grow in God, this is it.
- Dr. Teals Shea Butter & Almond Oil Foaming Bath (and other products). I love Dr. Teals anything! But this shea butter and almond oil scent is amazing. I use this foaming bath all the time, pretty much every day. And I like all of the products that are in this line such as epsom salts, etc.You can get this on Amazon but it is also widely available at places like Walmart, CVS, etc.
- Lori’s Soaps and Sponges, from her Tarpon Springs, Florida store. I go there in person or order these online. Lori’s is a small family owned business and everything is all natural. My favorite thing is the almond scented body butter. I have also purchased the soaps (favorite is the almond scent), the face wash, and sponges. If you live in Florida and live within an hour or so of the store, I highly recommend you go in person to see everything they have to offer.
- Guess White Sneakers; I just bought these last month and really love them. I wear them with casual clothes, or dress pant suits, and have received a lot of compliments on them. They are on a great sale (52% off) at Amazon right now, so if they have your size or a family members/friend’s size, you might wanna grab them up!
- Winter Texting Gloves – I have the black and the pink pair of these gloves. You can wear them and text at the same time. I use these when I’m in Virginia, and other cold weather places in the winter. They come in a wider variety of colors and I can testify to the fact that they really do work. You can wear these gloves and stay on your phone. Even if your family member doesn’t live somewhere that it’s cold it’s nice to have these gloves for when you go on a trip.
- Electric Throw Blanket – I have this in Virginia and use it every time I sit out on my porch swing in the winter. I don’t have one in Florida yet but I would use it here too in the colder months. It’s perfect for if you’re in a chair watching TV or reading a book and just want some extra warmth. It comes in several color and size varieties.I have the smallest one in red and black, and right now it looks like it’s on a 10% off sale on Amazon.
- Battery Operated Makeup Mirror – This mirror has 10X magnification. I use it at home and for all travel. I don’t know what I’d do without it! (Well, I guess I do. My face wouldn’t look the same AT ALL.)
I hope this gives you some ideas for your Christmas purchases. What are some of your favorite things that you use, or give to others? I’d love to hear your suggestions.
Awesome list. Thanks
